
IRMO – Funeral services for Catherine Sharpton Lindler, 82, will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Irmo, SC with burial in Bush River Memorial Gardens. Pastor Karen Young will officiate. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel is assisting the family. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
Mrs. Lindler, wife of the late Carroll M. “Dick” Lindler, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2012. Born September 4, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Everett and Lillie Mae Sharpton.
Surviving are her beloved daughter, Catherine Elaine Lindler of Columbia; nephew, Jimmy (Linda) Fortner of Missouri; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Lindler Noto and Evelyn Lindler Epting of Columbia and many beloved nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her “adopted” daughters, Carolyn Shealy, Donita Tucker, Joann Roberson and Denece Evans and “adopted” grandson, Timothy Evans. Mrs. Lindler was preceded in death by her beloved son, Timothy C. Lindler and sister, Margaret Fortner.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the entire staff at NHC-Parklane and to Dr. J. Richard Allison III for their most excellent care of Mrs. Lindler.
