David B. Broyles

IRMO – A memorial service for David B. Broyles, 68, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday with military honors in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. He was born September 28, 1945 in Huntsville, AL and passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014. He was a son of the late Col. Ned Butler Broyles and Lucile Trotter Broyles. David was a graduate of Guilford College. He served in the United States Army Special Forces in Vietnam. David had a long time career in sales and interior design

Surviving are his wife, Nancy Broyles of Irmo; sons, Scott Christopher Broyles of Boone, NC and Matt Broyles (Madelynn Anduray) of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Maeve, Wyatt and Van Broyles and brother, Douglas Broyles. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
