Born in Tacoma, Washington, he was a son of Dwayne Dandy and Lisa Ann Trott Richardson.
“Dwayne Dandy has had a profound impact on so many of our lives. He was one of the kindest, funniest, and most loyal people that anyone could ever hope to have in their life. He had an uncanny ability to cheer you up and make laugh, even in the depths of despair when you didn't think it possible to even crack a smile. If you found yourself overwhelmed and needed someone to listen, he was there to hear you out and talk you through it. Through the years he has provided us all an immense amount of support, inspiration, loyalty, good cheer, and innumerable fond memories to carry with us forever.” (Jonathan Sloan)
Dwayne attended Ridgeview High School and was a member of the bands APHATOS and Population Control. He was employed as a welder with Vogtle Electric Generating Plant.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his stepfather, Leon Richardson of Columbia; brothers, Matthew Dandy of Jacksonville, Fla. and Corey Valentine of Oak Harbor, Wa.; and uncle, Brian Trott of Chelsea, Mass.; and his many friends that loved him.
