Mr. Eusebio Perez-Otero

A funeral service celebrating the life of Eusebio Perez-Otero, 77, of Columbia will be held at 9:30a.m. on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 in Greenlawn Funeral Home Chapel with full military honors and interment to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:30 -8:30p.m. on Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

Mr. Perez-Otero passed away on Friday, June 18, 2010. He was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico to the late Aniceto Perez Rivera and Ana Otero. Mr. Perez-Otero retired from the United States Army after 26years of dedicated service to our country. After retirement from the United States Army, he then was employed at Pinckney Elementary School on Fort Jackson Army Base in which he retired in 1997. Mr. Perez-Otero was predeceased by his 1st wife, Mildred Perez and his nine siblings.

Surviving are his loving and devoted wife, Isabel R. Perez; 5 children, Darlene (Rev. E. Jarrell) Lillard, John Townsand, Samuel Bonilla, Miguel Bonilla and Sandra (Robert) Brewer; a sister, Ana Maria (Juan) Perez; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
