Herb loved camping, hunting, fishing and playing pool. He loved spending time with his children, but was especially proud of his grandchildren, James, Chase, Aleigha, Luke, Hunter, Mariyah and Arianna.
Herb was a construction worker before working at AT&T in Gaston, SC. He finished his career with Schroeder’s Towing.
Herbert is survived by his wife, Kelly; sons, Danny (Holly), Thomas (Brittany), Shaun and daughter, Kayla “June Bug”; three sisters, a brother and many nephews and nieces.
Herbert was predeceased by his parents and brother, Hugh Shearer.
Herb’s wishes were cremation and no service. A special luncheon at Murray’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar in Cayce will be planned later.
Special thanks to John Keen (Tiffany), Biscuit, all of Herb’s dear friends and the doctors and nurses at Lexington Medical Center, third floor ICU. Their services were exemplary.
