John D Mcmullen

COLUMBIA – Funeral services for John D. McMullen, 68, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2011 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel with interment in Bush River Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Yacht Cove Community Church, 109 Shoreline Drive, Columbia, SC 29212.

Mr. McMullen was born June 23, 1942 in Claxton, GA and passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2011. He was a son of Faye Easterling and the late Alfred S. McMullen. Mr. McMullen was affiliated with the Yacht Cove Community Church and served in the Air National Guard.

Mr. McMullen is survived by his wife, Marsha Maxwell of Columbia; two children, Michael Washburn (Jamie) of Lexington, Kelly Wagner (Daniel) of Woodbine, GA; sister, Penny Mastretti of Port Wentworth, GA; four grandchildren, Michaela and Maxwell Washburn and Madison and Caroline Wagner. He was predeceased by his son, Patrick McMullen and granddaughter, Meredith Wagner.
