A 34 year U.S. Army veteran, Juan traveled the world serving and leading many brave men and women defending our nation’s best interests. Juan was stationed in Korea, Germany and across the U.S., ultimately landing his family in Columbia, South Carolina near Fort Jackson. He loved his peers and his family deeply and reminded them often. He gave unselfishly and unconditionally. He grew up surfing and fishing and let go of these loves. Juan enjoyed golfing and spending time with friends and family. Music was also his passion and he was always ready to dance and celebrate life. Juan loved the beach and that is where he most felt at home. Everyone will attest to the abundance of laughter in his presence. Juan’s network spread across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Those who knew him best knew he was full of life, welcoming each and every day with gratitude and love. Juan always gave thanks to God for his blessings and his legacy will march on for many years to come.
