CAYCE – Funeral services for Marie Norris Brickle, 85, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Transfiguration Lutheran Church with interment at Elmwood Cemetery and Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Transfiguration Lutheran Church, 1301 12th St., Cayce, SC 29033.
Mrs. Brickle was born January 9, 1932 in Saluda, SC and passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017. She was a daughter of the late Benjamin Norris and Katie Jacob Bartlett Norris. She was one of five siblings, John Henry Norris, Jimmy Norris, Margaret Taylor and Joanne Jones. She loved the Lord and was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her sons, Louis Brickle, III of Cayce, Michael Brickle (Caroline), of NE Columbia; grandchildren, Mary Catherine, Rebecca and Adam Brickle; her sister, Joanne Jones of Springdale and sister-in-law, Judy Norris. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis Brickle, Jr. and infant son, Richard.
Elmwood Funeral Home and Cremations Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
