McKenna Brooke Harris, 24, of Chapin, South Carolina, passed away on September 25th, 2023. She was born on August 29th, 1999, in West Columbia, South Carolina. McKenna was the daughter of Lara Quarles Harris Heath and the late Kent George Harris.
McKenna was a genuine, funny, and caring soul. Aside from sour candy and her cat Maxx, she loved boxing, water skiing, tailgating at Carolina games, and watching Deebo Samuel play football the most. She was most recently an employee of Samsung in Newberry, S.C. She touched the lives of many with her sweet smile and kind spirit.
She is survived by her mother, Lara Harris Heath; her brother, Cade Harris; stepfather, Robert Heath; grandmother, Beverly Entrekin Quarles; aunt, Kathy Quarles Moore (Scotty); uncle, Michael Quarles (Lisa); aunt, Della Quarles Bomar (Mal); cousins, Nicole Derby (Tony), Jordan Quarles (Sydney), Caelan Derby, Joseph Quarles, Devin Moore and Casey Moore; along with numerous relatives. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A private family Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, October 1st, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. After the service, at 3:30 P.M, the family will receive friends at The Old Barn Farm, 833 Old Lexington Hwy, Chapin, S.C., 29036.
