PELION – A funeral service for Melissa Ann Rayfield, 35, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 5, 2014 at New Hope Baptist Church, 249 New Hope Church Road, Pelion, SC 29123. The family will receive friends following the service in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Hope Baptist Church.
Melissa was born March 25, 1979 in West Columbia to David William Rayfield and Rebecca Jean Webber Rayfield. She passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2014.
She is survived by her daughters, Serenity Skipper and Patience Dent; parents David and Becky Rayfield; sisters, Amanda and Jessica Rayfield; grandfather, James Hayes Webber and her loving family and friends. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home Lexington chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
