Patricia Stallworth

Born in Ridge Spring, SC to Paige B. Sawyer, Sr. and Louise Jones Sawyer, “Pat” grew up in Columbia where she met and married James Thomas Fetner, Jr. Pat was heavily involved in her children’s lives (PTA, Scouts, church, etc.) and was an accomplished seamstress and decorator. She was also a talented pianist, playing by ear, and had a beautiful soprano voice, which she shared with her church and at funerals and weddings.

In 1980, she married Ben Stallworth and they made their home in Santee, SC, then later in Manning, SC.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband, and brothers, Paige Jr., Danny, Baxter, Tom and Mark. She is survived by her children, Holly Fetner of Columbia, SC, Rita Snyder (James Stroot) of Charlotte, NC and Tom Fetner (Missy) of Magazine, AR. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Paige Greene and daughters Ellison and Carter; Thomas Fetner (Moriah) and son Oliver, Alex Fowler (Laurel) and daughter Zoe, Anna Fowler (Lamont Watson) and sons Rian and Kane, and Katlyn Urys (Matt) and daughter Harlow.

She is also survived by a nephew and two nieces, whom she considered almost as her own, Paige B. Sawyer, III (Susan) of Georgetown, SC, Christine Kirkley (Bubba) of Sumter, SC and Debbie Pepin of Sumter, SC.

Memorials may be made to Parkinson’s Foundation at parkinson.org. A private burial will be held at a later date in Ridge Spring, South Carolina.
