COLUMBIA - Philip “Howie” Toole, 58, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022. Born on December 16, 1963, he was a graduate Lugoff-Elgin High School, where he played in the band and competed on the tennis team. He attended Lander University and worked in the automotive industry for over 30 years. Howie loved his family, friends, music, sports, animals, and helping people. He will be greatly missed by those who loved and knew him.
Surviving are his wife of 17 years, Maria Fatima Toole; siblings, Diana Payne, Janet Killalea (Greg), Jimmy Toole (Pam), Mike Toole (Gail), Patricia Jusino (Armando), and Eric Toole (Celeste); and numerous nephews and nieces.
