Raymond John Scott

Mr. Scott passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025. Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania , he was a son of the late Raymond Scott and Beverly Giles. He dedicated 20 years of service to the US Air Force, serving in Vietnam and retiring as Technical Sergeant. Following his military career, he worked for Chase Bank as Second Vice President. He was a member of The First Baptist Church of Columbia, where he enjoyed participating in the TV ministry. Raymond loved spending time with friends, including the Wednesday Lunch Bunch, and watching movies. And especially watching NFL.

Surviving are his wife, Linda M. Scott of Columbia, SC; sons, Randall Scott (Fabia) of Oviedo, FL, and Donald Scott (Drea) of Islip Terrace, NY; stepson, Joseph Emrick of Williamsport, PA; eight grandchildren, Taylor (Jake), Christian, Marisa, and Kara, all of Florida and Travis, Kristin, C.J. and Keely.of NY; five great-granddaughters, Aubree, Harlow, Raelyn and Layne of FL and Riley of N.Y; brother, Ralph Marucci of Staten Island, NY; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife of 49 years, Barbara J. Scott.
