Cheryl and I just learned of your loss the other day when catching up with Elena Madden. Rick was such a wonderful man.  He and I often talked outside the gallery as he was walking your little dog. We had no idea he had passed and feel like bad neighbors for not sharing our condolences with you sooner. We are so glad to have you in Beuafort full time.  We will miss him.

I considered Rick the perfect southern gentleman,  looking the part as well as living it.  My introduction to Rick was through the art galleries in Columbia and Beaufort.  We lost touch but I am so happy to have known him.  My condolences and to Irene and the family.

Irene, we just learned of Rick's passing and cannot tell you how sad we all are.  Rick was one of the sweetest people on earth and you two were one of the cutest couples I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.  We will miss him terribly at the beach, as I know you all will.

Richard was one of my best friends in college. I kept in touch with him after college and did some business with his gallery as he helped in restoring damaged artwork. Richard intoduced me to the "bowtie" in college. He was a class act and his humor and love for the beauty in life will be missed. Blessings to his wife and the family.

Irene, we are just back from vacation and learned of Rick's passing.  This is a tragic loss and our hearts go out to you, Richard and Pinckney.  He was such a fine gentleman and contributed so much to the art community - he will be sorely missed. It was our pleasure to have known him all these many years and if there is anything at all we can do for you please don't hesitate to let us know. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Jan had the antique table we bought from the consignment store next door to the gallery delivered this morning. They told Jan about Rick and she couldn't believe it. I can't believe it either, and just checked the obituaries to sadly find it to be true. We are both so shocked and upset about Rick's passing. I don't know of a finer gentleman, businessman and friend to so many than Rick. We are deeply sorry with this news this morning. Please feel free to reach out to us if there is anything we can do for you and the family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Tommy and I didn't want to believe when Nick told us of Richard's passing. Like Richard, we share memories of those wonderful Clemson days and the pride we all have for our sons and daughters. I just found out tonight from a friend in Columbia that Rick had died this past Sunday. Please accept my deepest sympathy and I will keep Rick in my prayers.

John and I send our love and prayers to you and your family at this time of such a great loss. I will be forever grateful that I got to know Rick and find out what an amazing person he was. Kind, gentle, funny, and a gentleman, are just a few of the things I found so endearing in him.
