Bob was born on February 28, 1944 to the late Essie Mae Eaves in Union, SC.
Bob is survived by his wife Mary (for over 55 years); two daughters; Robin Gilbert Dolge and Tracy Gilbert Williams (Todd); one sister Kathi Danella (Jerry); four grandchildren Alexandra Reaves (Brandon), Bailey Dolge, Tanner Williams, and Tucker Williams; one great grandchild Hampton Reaves; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Essie Mae Eaves Kidd and sisters, Nancy Gray and Brenda Hoffman.
Bob was a long-time employee of BellSouth (The Real Yellow Pages) and volunteered at Palmetto Health Baptist Hospital for several years.
Bob was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed greatly.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday, November 19, 2021 with a private service at Elmwood Funeral Home and Cemetery in Columbia, SC.
