

Robert "Bobby" Wilson Wylie, 51, of Lexington, died Sunday, October 30, 2011, at Lexington Medical Center, after a long illness. He was born in Columbia, on August 29, 1960, a son of Dorothy Nell Mathis Wylie and the late Robert Wilson Wylie, Sr. Bobby was a member of Gaston Baptist Church.
Surviving are his mother, Dorothy Nell Wylie of Blythewood; two children, Christina Wylie Grube (Steven) of Lexington, Robert Wilson Wylie, III (Tabitha) of Columbia; two grandchildren, Stevie and Addison Grube; brother, Chris Wylie of Blythewood; four sisters, Donya Long (Tony) of Aiken, Patty Chapman (Ted) of Murfreesboro, TN, Dottie Kirton (Basil) of Myrtle Beach, and Margaret Fisher (Clifford) of Lexington; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
A graveside service for Bobby will be held 3 o’clock, Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Rd, Columbia. Officiating will be The Rev. Don Davis and The Rev. Calvin Snelgrove. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o’clock, Tuesday evening, at Shives Funeral Home, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia.
