When Shane and all our cousins and Sister went out to party on the town after my mom's 50th birthday party and I had just been in a wreck so I was home in bed in pain and he came to my bedroom window that was open sing "shake it shake it shake it like a Polaroid picture doing a silly little dance too!  I wanted to kill in that moment but now I laugh every single time I think about it!  I love you Shane and I will never ever let the memory of you go!  I talk about you all the time and Kali and I both know you visit pretty dang often giving us those aggravating hiccups!  Lol.  I know you are free of that devil that took over you now and I know you were so much more than an addict! I miss you like crazy.  I miss the special bond we had even though you made me so mad sometimes I could never stay mad for long and you have always had a very special place in my heart and I know you loved me and my babies so much!!  Watch over us Bubba! It's hell on earth most days down here and we can only pray things get better!   I love you! 

I remember Shane from his first years in the construction world,  when we built the printing shop in Chapin, SC for his father with NB Kahn. He was always happy go lucky guy which was very hard to find a pleasant superintendent who was a down to earth guy. I’m sorry for your loss,  he will he missed. If I can be of any comfort for you guys please reach out and call me . Shane will be truly missed 

Shane had a massive heart and beautiful soul. He worked so hard in his life that took him many years to get there. Finally he reached this hard goal he'd battled for so long. I couldn't have ever been so proud. He was amazing I feel in love with him right away just listening to him tell stories about about his travels on tour following his favorite band (Grateful Dead), he always spoke so passionatly about his stepsons with his ex-wife and loved and his family and friends so much it was so amazing and heart warming to hear about. He captivated those around him with his infectious laughter and silly actions. I will always love you Shanie baby as long as I am here you'll live with me in my heart and soul and the same with others around you. You were incredibly talented and beautiful and I will always think about you every time I pass the buildings that you had a part of building. I've been so proud of you. I don't think I ever told you that enough but I know you know how I feel about you now. Care Bear will always be here and always love till we see each other again. May the Lord bless you and the Angels keep you safe till we all see you again. I'm honored to be a part of your life Shane Burrell. My heart and prayers are with you and your family and friends. I'm lost without you. God bless sweet baby.

My mom and I met Shane about five years ago, and we immediately loved his kind heart and attitude. Our first conversation was over a Grateful Dead shirt he was wearing, and that I had once owned as well; and that's always how I'll remember him. He will be greatly missed, but we are also grateful to have the memories to miss at all. Sending love and hugs to all his loved ones. 

Shane was the most tender-hearted man! He was thoughtful, and kind, and he was so good to me and my boys! He loved his family so much! IHe was a good good man! He was the reflection of his parents’ best qualities. I will always remember him for who he truly was!
