Thomas Woffard Henderson, 74, of Columbia, SC, formally of Union, passed away on June 27, 2023. He was born on May 9, 1949 in Spartanburg, SC and was the son of Wofford Carlisle Henderson and Georgia Raines Henderson.
Thomas grew up in Union, SC and graduated from Union High School in 1967. He also graduated from Limestone College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music. He went on to be a chorus teacher at Sims Junior High School where he taught for many years, as well as a Minister of Music at Salem Baptist, Fairforest Baptist, and Putman Baptist Churches. Thomas loved his family and his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife Susan Henderson; his daughter, Jennifer Bartel; his son, Jonathan Henderson, and granddaughters, Jaymes and Jayden Bartel.
A private service will be held for Thomas at a later date.
