COLUMBIA - A memorial service for Thomas “Cleo” Ricks, 66, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Ricks passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016. Born on August 7, 1950 in Ridgeway, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Lizzie Brunson.
The dash between the years 1950 and 2016 represents a hardworking and dedicated husband, father, and grandfather.
Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Jacqueline Ricks; daughter, Tamika L. Lee of Columbia; sons, Travon C. Ricks of California and Charles E. Ricks; grandchildren, Taya D. Lee, Elise J. Lee, and Nazareth Ricks; sister, Willie Mae Griffin of Columbia; brothers, Robert Ricks of New York, Henry L. “Ernest” Ricks of New York, and Richard “Dennis” Ricks of South Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.
