William Wallace Stanley

William “Wally” Wallace Stanley, 58, of Irmo, died Tuesday, February 7, 2012. Born October 2, 1953, in Columbia to the late William Wallace Stanley and Dorothy Sharpe Stanley, Wally was a self- employed glass worker and business man.

Survivors of include his companion, Wren Loftis; daughters, Angela (Ken Hicks) Feagin, Jennifer (Russell) Matthews; son, Joshua (Kayla) Stanley; step-daughters, Kimberly (Bowen) Shugart, Leanne (Matt) Meier; step-son, Patrick (Melissa) Loftis; sisters, Sharon (Wade) Furtick, Terrie (Tommy) Creech; brothers, Michael (Phyllis) Stanley, Allen (Gayle) Stanley, Bryan (Valerie) Stanley; grandchildren, Amber, Kaitlynn, Landon, Kristopher, Abigail, Sawyer, Alex, Hunter; step- grandchildren, J.J., Ethan, Savanah; along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Wally was formerly married to Kathileen Hannon Stanley.

A memorial service for William Wallace Stanley will be held at 3 o’clock, Friday, February, 10, 2012, at Shives Funeral Home, 5202 Colonial Dr, with The Rev. Waco Cotney officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 520 Gervais Street, #300, Columbia, SC 29201. Shives Funeral Home is assisting the family.
