Grant graduated from Augusta University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, and in 2017 he graduated from South University and became a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Grant was eventually able to make his lifelong entrepreneurial dream a reality when he and Brittany purchased their first tiny home park in Ashford, Alabama, in 2024: B&G Village Tiny Home and RV Community. Grant poured his heart and soul into every detail of not just building homes, but creating a true community where people felt safe, welcomed, and valued. B&G Village was a reflection of who Grant was at his core, and he was incredibly proud of what they built together with the help of countless others.
Grant lived a beautiful life in Anderson, SC, with his wife, Brittany, and their fur baby, Piper. Grant and Brittany loved to travel, search for seashells on every beach, watch The Office on repeat, and play prank after prank on each other. Grant told every corny joke, made you feel like his best friend right away, and wanted to pet every dog he came across. He was the kindest soul and had the best sense of humor. Grant’s devotion to Brittany and Piper is only rivaled by their love for him.
The loss of Grant will forever be felt by those who love him. To quote his favorite show, The Office, “I wish there was a way to know you’re in the good old days before you’ve actually left them.”
Grant is survived by his wife, Brittany Wikel Grantham, and their beloved “fur baby,” Piper; his mother, Montea Grantham; his sister, Ginger Grantham Ades (William), and his nieces, Olivia and Elizabeth Ades; his mother-in-law, Jean Hellyar Wikel; his father-in-law, Thomas Wikel (Violet); and his brother-in-law, Wes Wikel (Kerri), and his nephew, Miller Wikel; along with his extended family and friends.
Grant is preceded in death by his father, Albert “Al” Gallatin Grantham III, and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
The family will receive friends in the Mill Room at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 1:00 PM until 1:50 PM. A brief service of memories will begin at 2:00 PM followed by a private interment.
