Annette G. Ellerbee

Annette Griffin Ellerbee passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023 at the age of 84 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 7, 1939 to the late Dorothy and Eddie Griffin in Gillsville, Georgia. Annette was married to the late Timothy C. Ellerbee. She worked for many years at CB&T Bank before it became Synovus before retiring. Annette enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren-grand and great. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She leaves her loving memory to be cherished by her granddaughter Racheal Ellerbee McAllister and her husband Joey McAllister; her great grandchildren: Dylan C. Ellerbee and Kaylee Ann McAllister; her sister Sara F. Bryant; and other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Eddie Griffin; her husband Timothy C. Ellerbee; and her daughter Deirdre J. Casper.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia. Following the visitation will be a Celebration of Annette’s Life service at 3:00 PM with Pastor Sammie Mathis officiating. Burial will be in Parkhill Cemetery following the service.
