Ashley Nichole Smith

Ashley Nichole Smith, age 24, resident of Smiths, Alabama, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014 at Columbus Hospice House. Graveside services are scheduled at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus on Monday, February 10, 2014, 3 p.m. with Pastor Brian Morris officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Monday, February 10, 2014 from 1-3 p.m.

Ashley, born in Columbus on May 2, 1989, was the daughter of Brian Keith Smith and Janet Lynn Sullivan Ross. She graduated from Smiths Station High School and had worked at Applebees.

Ashley was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Franklin Smith and maternal grandfather, W.W. Sullivan.

She is survived by two sons, Grayson Layne Romaine and Geordan Bryce Brewer, both of Columbus; her father, Keith Smith and his wife Chasity of Smiths, Alabama; her mother, Jan Ross and her husband Earl of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee; three brothers, Brandon Smith and his fiancé Robyn Jones of Smiths, Alabama, Truman Ross of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, and Tucker Ross, also of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee; three sisters, Melody Kelley and her husband Shane of Hixson, Tennessee, Lechelle Curtis and her husband Blake of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, and Courtney Smith of Smiths, Alabama; paternal grandmother, Jean Smith of Columbus; maternal grandmother, Shirley Thomley of Columbus; several nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends.
