A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 27th at 2:00 p.m. EDT at Parkhill Cemetery in the Memorial Mausoleum located on 4161 Macon Road in Columbus, Georgia with Chaplain Jeremie Fisher officiating.
Audrey was born in Ealing, London, England on the first day of October 1938 and was the only child of Mr. Charles Francis Warner and Elsie May Wise.
On January 4th, 1957, she married the love of her life, PFC Earl Ray Brown at Ealing Parish Church, St. Mary’s in London, England.
In January of 1957, she moved to France with her husband and began her life dedicated to being an “Army Wife “and loving mother of two children. Their lives together included various duties and tours across Europe and the United States. She was very involved in many activities of the NCO wives club and was a proud supporter of her late husband’s distinguished Army career of 30 years retiring as Command Sargent Major in 1985. He then served in Civil Service at Fort Benning, Georgia for an additional 29 years.
Her passion was rescuing stray animals and provide transportation, fostering and to be involved in adoptions to loving homes. She also worked tirelessly in this mission and her ‘moto’ was to love all creatures great and small - all of which are created by God and to be loved.
Her passions included feeding the birds, spending time with her family, time in prayer and the love and joy of watching golf with her late husband. She remained a proud member of the Church of England and maintained her citizenship of the United Kingdom of Great Britain.
She is survived by her two children, (Son) Stephen Earl Brown of Freeport Florida, (Daughter), Susan (Bo) Bearden of Athens, Ga, and her late loving husband of 65 years, Ret. CSGM Earl R. Brown and 5 grandchildren which she loved dearly.
