Mrs. Rebecca R. "Becky" Oliver, passed away on October 30, 2011. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd., Columbus from 6:00-8:00 PM. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 3:00 PM in Sardis United Methodist Church Cemetery, Lumpkin, GA.
Mrs. Oliver was born on November 2, 1940 in Columbus, GA to the late John T. Rankin and Belle T. Rankin. She enjoyed gardening and had a love for orchids. Mrs. Oliver was a loving mother and a friend to many and will be missed dearly.
Survivors include her two sons, Willis Allen of Columbus and Mark Rankin Allen of Columbus; a granddaughter, April Mathis; a brother, William T. Rankin and two sisters, Peggy R. Dykes and Kathryn R.
