Bonnie Aloha Clayton

Bonnie A. Clayton passed to New Life September 23, 2015 in her home at Riverplace. She was born in Linden, Missouri, October 4, 1929 to Cordelia and Vernon Williams. Bonnie was a devout, dedicated mother and homemaker who worked many jobs in her early life including Executive Secretary at Ford Motor Company in Kansas City, Missouri. Later she was Ward Secretary at Menningers Hospital in Topeka, Kansas and worked briefly at the Bradley Center and The Pastoral Institute. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Dr. Robert E. Clayton. She was beloved mother to seven children: David Clayton, Kenny Clayton, Janey Hackett (Tom), Jory Clayton, Elaine Clayton, DeAnne Talbot (Gary), and Julie Veluswamy (Moe). She was grandmother to sixteen grandchildren and great-grandmother to ten great-grandchildren.

A rosary will be said on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 6:00 PM in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus GA 31907. On Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 11:00 AM there will be a Memorial Service held at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2000 Kay Circle, Columbus, Georgia 31907.
