Ms. Goodwin was born on February 21, 1946 in Eufaula, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her mother, Fran Alston and father Bernard Alston.
Funeral services for Ms. Goodwin will be held at 3:00 PM, on Monday, September 22, 2014 in Edgewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby 4071 Macon Road Columbus, with interment to follow in Parkhill Cemetery.
Visitation for Ms. Goodwin will be one hour prior to the service on Monday, September 22, 2014 in Edgewood Hall.
Survivors include several cousins; Gwen Braswell, Martha Presley, Dean and Fred Morillo, Britney Rogers, Terry Cameron, Jim McCollum, Scott McDaniel, Dick and Faye Lingo, Rick and Cynthia Lingo, Elizabeth Lingo, Drew Lingo, Tray Lingo, Dwight and Karen Baker, and James and Ashley Barker.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to; Magnolia Manor 2010 Warm Springs Road Columbus, GA. 31907. In memory of Brenda Carol Goodwin.
