I knew Carol and worked with her from 1979-1989 at St Francis hospital. She was a wonderful, sweet person I enjoyed working for 10 years before going into the military. I would help Katrina, Ben and Carol open up in the OR with Dr Houzouris cases and help them get their case started sometimes in the morning. She was wonderful and was a blessing to know. 
I sometimes would see her at St Annes church and I would be so glad to see her and talk to her. I was looking for her and I was so sorry to hear and read her name on the obituary.  
What a wonderful person to have known in my lifetime.

Carol,  It has been almost 3 months since your passing.  I miss you so much.  I know you are in a better place but, it has been a struggle for me.  You were such a great sister and best friend to me.  I love you and you will always have a place in my heart.  RIP sweet sister.  Love, Susan

My sympathy goes out to Bob and Pam and other members of Carol's family here in Columbus. I've been visitng my family in Miami and was shocked to see Carol's obit in the paper when I returned today. Please be assured of God's love for her and his assurance that she is in a wonderful place with other family members. My heart hurts with you and I hope to talk to you soon! She loved ya'll so much!

My prayers and thoughts are with you in this time of sorrow.  I enjoyed knowing and being associated with Carol. I was employed at Dr. Hazouri's office and Carol, Katrina, Ben and myself were always "catching Hell early in the mornings".

Carol (Mrs. Edge to me) was a wonderful friend and co-worker to my mother at St. Francis Hospital for many years. I have known her most of my life. She was such a devoted, hard- working mother. She will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers to Richard and family.

I worked with Carol at St Francis for the last few years she was there.  She was such a kind, gentle person.  I am so sorry to hear about her passing and I know she will be greatly missed by many.

My husband and I did not have the privilege of knowing Carol before she moved to Fransican Woods, but we enjoyed her friendship there.  Carol was devoted to her family, and they to her.  She enjoyed bowling every Friday, swimming, walking, and watching the Georgia Bulldogs Football games on TV.  She was delightful and had a great sense of humor.  She will be missed.  My thoughts and prayers go out to Richard and the family.

I was just thinking of Carol the other day and how she would have to bring Richard with her at night when she came in on call....Her son was the light of her life. I am very saddened to hear of her passing. RIP Carol.

Oh the fond memories I have of Carol!  We had many good times in our young years-riding and working at Pritchards etc. Im so very sorry to hear of her passing away and will never forget her. So glad I got to see her and talk to her and laugh with her last Thanksgiving. Love, John

Carol was truly a compassionate nurse who had nothing but nice things to say about the people she worked with and we loved her for that. Everyone at SFH knew that Richard was Carol's heart.  She will truly be missed by her family at SFH.
