Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday March 31, 2012 at Parkhill Cemetery according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907.
Mrs. Phillips was born May 11, 1925 in Montgomery, Alabama daughter of the late John E. McLain and Lillie Mae Jackson McLain and was also preceded in death by her husband Louis W. Phillips, Sr. She was owner and operator of Lady Catherine's and Beauty By Kitty. She was a member of the National Hairdressers Association and a member of Morningside Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Louis W. Phillips, Jr., James O. (Kim) Phillips, grandchildren, Troy Phillips, Chad (Diane) Phillips, Jamie Phillips, Beth Phillips, great grandchildren, Chancelor Phillips and Blake Phillips.
