

Charlotte "Ann" Adams, 79, passed away quietly on the morning of September 28th at Columbus Hospice. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched throughout her memorable life.
Ann was born in June of 1937 in Goshen, AL to Charlie and Mae Armstrong. She attended Central High School until graduating in 1955. She married Jimmy L. Adams on June 7th, 1957 and they had 2 children. They eventually opened Edgewood Printing in Columbus, GA where they both worked until retirement. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2007.
Ann will be remembered as having a warm personality a loving soul, a being caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Mae, her husband Jimmy, and her 6 sisters, Louise, Eucile, Velma, Lillian, Gwiney, and Bebe.
She leaves to cherish her memory her two children Cindy Pitt (Tony) and Mark Adams, her two grandchildren Sheri Pitt and Brooke Nichols (Joseph) and her four great grandchildren Anthony, Abi, Evie, and Eli.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 10:00 am, in the Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby 4071 Macon Road Macon Road Columbus, GA.
Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am, on Saturday, October 1, 2016 in the Mill Room, with interment in Parkhill Cemetery.
