Ellerslie, GA- Chong Cha Parker, 62, of Ellerslie, GA. died Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA. 31907 with Reverend Keith Cowart officiating. Interment to follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Parker was born in South Korea on December 1, 1950 to the late Joo Dal Lee and Ok Soon Chun Lee. She was a member of the Korean Full Gospel Church and a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Charles A. Parker, III of Ellerslie, three children, Cindy Hypes and husband Chad of Canton, GA., Gerald Parker of Columbus, and Penny Johnson and husband William of Wilkesboro, NC, five grandchildren, Cierra Hypes, Colton Hypes, Clair Hypes, Leah Johnson and Maiya Johnson, four sisters, Min Cha Lee, Chun Wha Lee, Chung Duk Lee and Chung Hui Lee, and two brothers, Ki Wan Lee and Ki Dong Lee.
