She was born on September 3, 1936, in Gravesend, England, to Basil and Peggy Blatchford. Following World War II, Daphne and her mother immigrated to the United States.
Daphne dedicated much of her professional life to the hospitality industry, serving as Director of Sales for the Hilton Corporation for more than a decade. Among her many career accomplishments, she was honored to help coordinate the 1996 Olympic Softball teams in Columbus, Georgia.
She is survived by her sons, Lesslie and Michael and daughter Sally Dove, her grandsons Ian and his wife Erica, David, Aaron and great-grandson Ethan Dove.
Daphne was preceded in death by her beloved husband of more than ten years, Ken Peirce, her parents, Basil and Peggy Blatchford, and her daughter-in-law, Kathy Schroeder Dove.
A graveside service will be held at Parkhill Cemetery, located at 4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia, 31907. The service is scheduled for October 2, 2025, at 2:00 pm.
