

Visitation will be today (Sunday, the 8th) at 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA.
Graveside services will be held at Monday at 11:00 a.m. in Parkhill Cemetery.
Pete was born in Geneva County, Alabama on June 8, 1931, son of the late William and Pearl Hall. Pete was a plumber for 38 years at the Bibb Manufacturing Company. He will be remembered as a humble, patient, kind and loving husband, father and Papa who loved watching the Braves and visiting with friends and family on his front porch. Pete will be sorely missed and we will cherish our memories of him always. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Lou Dell “Lucy”, his cherished brother and best friend Raymond and his wife, Ruby, brother Robert and his wife, Glenda.
Surviving family include his daughters Kathy Watson (Dewey) of Columbus, GA and Carol Hall Grantham (Russell) of Avondale Estates; son, Keith Hall (Peggy) of Columbus; sister-in-law Carolyn Moss Smith of Slocomb, AL; and four wonderful grandchildren: Angela Watson (Mark Black), Zack Watson (Megan), Joshua and Jonathan Hall; and three great grandsons: Ethan and Eli Black and Wyatt Watson, all of Columbus. Other survivors include his brothers, sisters and in-laws, Virgil Hall (Jean) of Smiths Station, AL; Billy Earl Hall (Nancy) of Cataula, Sue Whittington (Cecil) of Sylvester, Catherine Strickland (Jerry), Malvern, AL, Joe Hall (Marty) of Columbus; and Helen Guirard, Jerry Hall (Sheila), and Sharon McCall, all of Dothan, AL.
