Diana Ursula Jones was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, friend, and confidant. She was a soldier who served in the United States Army during the Korean War in Kansas as WAC recruiter. She loved her country and was a loyal patriot. She traveled the world with her Husband and children and experienced things that many could only read in books. She started the first Girl Scout troop at Eastway Elementary, was a Librarian Assistant at Baker High School, a Paraprofessional at Georgetown Elementary School in Columbus, Georgia. She loved working and educating children. She enjoyed reading and corresponding with all the people she knew and loved. She was generous and kind yet asked for very little in return. She was a gardener and loved birds. Diana was tender yet independent and strong soul. Her friends and family will miss her every nuance.
Diana leaves behind four Children: Deborah Keen, Jerry Jones, Greg Jones, and Jenifer Jones. Six grandchildren, Jessica Kennedy, Alexander Jones, Sierra Goodwin, Sergeant First Class Cody Jones, Brenton Harold, Aubrey Harold-McGownse.
