So sorry to hear about Mat. He and I were scout dog instructors together at Ft.Benning 1970-1971. He bought that yellow & black'70 Torino Cobra which he liked to drag race. It took us about 3 hours to install a pair of headers on that car- what a job that was. But it knocked a half second off of his e.t. time at the drag strip. He was a funny guy. To the Matheson Family,we are very sorry for your loss we will remember him kindly he always reminded me of a loving Teddy Bear.

I worked with Mat in Maintenance Division, DOL at Ft Benning back in the 90's.  He was a great guy with a happy personality.  Always laughing.  He will be missed by all that knew him.

We are thankful to God for being blessed with Mat's time spent with us.  He will always be remembered for  his positive outlook on every aspect life.  Thank you Mat!
