Donna Marie Latner, 53, of Columbus, GA passed away Friday, October 9, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 16, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the Edgewood Hall of Striffer-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Mrs. Latner, daughter to William A. Latner and late Pauline Mary Drouse Latner, was born March 23, 1962 in Clinton, IN. She was a graduate of Hardaway High school in 1980, then attended Columbus State University and Columbus Technical College. Mrs. Latner was a Paraprofessional for the Muscogee County School District for 15 years, and has been working at H&R Block as a Senior Tax Advisor for the past 22 years. She was very active with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, a computer fanatic and loved spending time with her family.
Other than her mother, Mrs. Latner is preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Elaine Latner. Survivors include her father, William A. Latner of Columbus, GA; husband Michael A. Latner of Columbus, GA; other relatives and friends.
