Douglas Lamar Smith

Douglas was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle who loved his family. He was Christian by faith and attended Bethel Tabernacle Assembly of God, when his health allowed him. Douglas loved the Lord and his favorite quote was "God is good all the time". He also enjoyed watching Jimmy Swaggert on television. Douglas enjoyed spending time with his family, he will be greatly missed.

Douglas is survived by; son Douglas L. Smith, Jr. (Samantha); daughter Christa Coker (Tim); and daughter Amy Smith; sister Betty J. Travieso (Albert); grandchild Trey Price, grandchild Haily Smith, grandchild Matthew Smith, grandchild Zachary Coker, grandchild Noah Fitzgerald, grandchild Caitlin Coker, grandchild Austin Coker, niece Brenda Kirpatrick, nephew Michael Travieso, nephew Joseph Travieso and nephew Eddie Travieso. Douglas was preceded in death by; father James Thomas Smith and mother Ruby Murphy Smith Melton.
