A celebration of Eric’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2020 in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA with Reverend Hank Reeves officiating. A visitation will begin at 2:00 prior to services.
Eric was born January 7, 1974 in Hanover, PA to Rosanna Floyd and Joseph Paul Mallette. Eric attended North Highland Church. He was a self-employed flooring contractor/installer, having worked for Home Depot, ServPro and Huckaby Brothers Flooring. Eric was an avid Florida Gator fan; he enjoyed playing cards, hunting, fishing, playing golf, and shooting pool. He believed that if you want something, you work for it! Eric was a hard worker who loved his family and was always willing to help someone in need. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Annie Pearl Williams.
Eric married the love of his life, Katrina Mallette, on October 26, 1996 at their home. Eric is survived by: his wife, Katrina; children, Emily Morgan, Amanda Mallette and Sarah Mallette; grandchildren, Lyla Dionne and Emmett Dionne; mother, Rosanna Floyd; sister, Anita Maniaci; and several nieces and nephews.
