George Edwin Tindall was a God fearing man who was at church every Sunday with a smile and a hand shake. Jesus was his favorite subject. Sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee was a great start and ending to the day. He was always there for anyone that needed him. Was an amazing father that made sure his children knew they were loved and taken care of. Would spoil his grandkids just to spite the parents. All the grandkids knew what a trip to Dollar General meant. His wife, Deborah, was the most spoiled of them all. Would play a joke on you in a heartbeat. So you always had to be on high alert for Edwin’s shenanigans. Always had to be fixing something or creating a problem to be fixed. Would never say no to any kind of sweets. His mama's pound cake was the best in the world and you couldn’t tell him different. One of the simple joys in life for him was keeping the bird feeders full and fighting the squirrels off of them. His boys are going to always remember him taking them to the farm for the weekend for hunting and camping. He raised youngest and only daughter to be the boss and keep the family in check. The oldest granddaughter was his morning coffee buddy. If you couldn’t find the oldest grandson, you knew he was outside being put to work against his will. The youngest grandson was his little shadow. To know Edwin was to know that Jesus loved you. His first question to any stranger was always “Do you know the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior?”. We will never know the exact number of people’s lives he touched but we do know that he was a big part of ours.
He is survived by his wife Deborah, his children, Benjamin, Timothy (Sarah), and Holly Tindall, his grandchildren, Sarabeth , Noah, and Andrew Tindall and Hannah Edwards.
