Mrs. Helen G. Holman, age 83, passed away on August 26, 2011 at her residence. Memorial services will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd., Columbus, GA 31907 on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at 3:00 PM.
Mrs. Holman was born on August 11, 1928 to the late John and Emma Hix in Lee County, AL. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed dearly. Mrs. Holman was preceded in death by her husband, Roy H. Holman.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Larry Crook of Columbus; a son and daughter-in-law, Roy E. “Gene” and Lillie Holman of Columbus; four grandchildren, Sherry, Christopher, Bobby and Jeffery; five great-grandchildren, Jessica, Breanna, Jorden, Colby and Anthony; several nieces and nephews.
