Jennifer Sue Carr, age 73, died Tuesday, January 10th, 2023 after a brief illness at Columbus Hospice. She was born September 14, 1949 in Columbus, Georgia and was the daughter of the late, W.L. Carr, Jr. and Edna Dean Carr.
Jennifer was a special gift to all who know her and was well-loved by friends and extended family. Jennifer was a gifted puzzle-worker, a committed Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldog fan, a master Dollar Tree shopper, a dedicated Elvis fan, and the family songstress. Her special rendition of “O Holy Night” was a classic! Her sweet voice and joyous spirit will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Carr is preceded in death by her step-father, Jimmy Carr.
The family has planned a private Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday, January 14th, 2023. Memorial gifts to Columbus Hospice would be a fitting tribute to a life well-lived.
The family wishes to thank the staff and caregivers at Spectrum Habilitation Services and Happy Valley Day Center for their loving care.
