Jennifer Lynn Wray, age 35, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022. A visitation for the family and friends of Jennifer will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 9:50 AM to 10:50 AM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia, followed by a celebration of Jennifer's life at 11:00 AM.
Jennifer was born April 4, 1987, in Columbus, GA; the daughter of Mark Allen Wray and Teresa Ann Layne Wray. Jennifer has been a resident of the greater Columbus area throughout her life, attending Marion County High School, Hallie Turner Private School, and received her medical Certificate from Columbus Technical College. She was employed at Main St. Family Care on Macon Rd. She enjoyed working there with her coworkers, her patient interaction, and she was fulfilled knowing she was making a difference. Jennifer was caring, empathetic, loving, competitive, and loved to have fun. She loved to play softball, going mud riding, tailgating, her dogs (especially Dixie), and The Georgia Bulldogs! She lived her life to the fullest, her favorite colors were pink and leopard print. She was “the one” who was always taking pictures of friends, family, and of course she enjoyed taking a selfie or two. She wanted to be a mother, sometimes we don’t have answers as to why or why not; Jennifer does have angel babies that she cherishes and there is no doubt that they are now reunited. Jennifer strived to be the best aunt to her nieces and nephews. She loved them so much. Everything in her life was always made better by being with her friends and the family she loved and cherished.
Survivors include: her mother, Teresa Wray; her father, Mark Wray; her brothers, Christopher Wray, Marc Wray, Ryan Harold; maw-maw, Dorthy Layne; paw-paw, John Layne; uncle, Rick Layne; aunt, Lisa Wray, sister-in-law, Rose Wray; nephews, Christopher Wray, Jr., Allen Wray; nieces, Ann Martin, Ka’leila Wray, and Tea’ Breedlove.
