Jerry Jackson Bailey

He loved his family, friends, going fishing and hunting.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 58 years of marriage, Kathryn (Riley) Bailey; his son, Jeffrey Jackson (Darlene) Bailey; his daughter, Michelle (Brian) Gallops; his grandchildren, Chase (Tiffany) Bailey, Justin Pollock, Kirklyn Gallops, Katelyn Gallops, Meagan Holloway, his great-grandchildren, Brooke Bailey, Millie Bailey, River Bailey, Preston Bailey, Annsley Robbins, Clayton Robbins, Lavanna Holloway, Lex Pollock; granddaughter in law, Darby (Amelia) Lester and Sherri Nicole (Brooke) Plemons; and his dogs, Peanut, Dolly, Roo Roo, Molly, and Butterbean. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Bailey.

A Graveside Service will be held at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 on Monday, May 8, 2023 at 11:00AM. Rev. Ed Kvietkus officiating service. Family will visit with friends on Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Edgewood Hall, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907.
