SFC (Ret.) Jorge Sardinas

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 3:00 PM in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, Georgia. Family will visit with friends before the service beginning at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Parkhill Cemetery with Military Honors.

Mr. Sardinas was born on May 9, 1945 in Cuba to the late Susana Ramirez and Modesto Sardinas. He honorably served in the United States Army for over 20 years. Mr. Sardinas served during the Vietnam War and obtained numerous decorations, medals and awards. He was Christian by faith and a member at Edgewood Baptist Church. Mr. Sardinas was a loving husband to Ana L. Sardinas for over 40 years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and especially loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Ana L. Sardinas; two sons: Armando R. Sardinas and Rodrigo A. Sardinas; grandchildren: Linda, Anna, Bella, Maddox and Tyler Sardinas.
