Joshua’s hobbies included watching his favorite basketball team, the Golden State Warriors, and watching his favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. His favorite players were Stephan Curry and Ben Roethlisberger. Joshua loved playing basketball and playing PlayStation with his friends and sister, Kelsey. Joshua was a very active young man and loved to be outside. Joshua also enjoyed going to youth service at Solid Rock Church.
He was preceded in death by his great grandmother Rinna S. Hall, grandmother Kathryn Lynn Ponder, his great uncle Dale Hall, his granny Becky Jenkins, and grandmother Kathleen Jenkins.
He is survived by his parents David and April Jenkins, sisters Katie and Kelsey Jenkins, his brothers Michael Jenkins, Travis and Trevor Seeley, and Sister-in-love Belita Seeley. He is also survived by his grandfather David D. Jenkins Sr., several uncles, aunts, cousins, niece Gabriella Hope Seeley and nephew Elijah Jacobs Seeley.
Striffler-Hamby will be conducting the viewing for Joshua Luke Jenkins on Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at Solid Rock Church in Midland, GA on Friday, October 7, 2022, at 2:00 pm. Pastor Jay Bailey will be officiating the service.
