Juanita Wrye Sapp, 90, of Columbus, GA, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 in her home. A graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. EST, Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Parkhill Cemetery with Rev. Tim Long officiating. Visitation will be held prior to graveside at 1:00 p.m. EST at Striffler-Hamby Funeral Home, Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Sapp was born October 16, 1924 in Macon, GA. to Benjamin Eugene Smith and Elizabeth Wrye. She was a beloved member of Mount Moriah Primitive Baptist church for 64 years.
Preceding her in death are her husband Hoyt L. Sapp and her son Kenneth R. Sapp.
Survivors include her sons, Leonard M. Sapp of Columbus and Walter L. Sapp (Susan) of Fortson; her daughters, Penny J. Sapp of Columbus and Patty E. Kelley (Andy) of Midland; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
