Judith Maxine Cain Love

Judith Maxine Love, 70, of Columbus, GA passed away August 4, 2015 at Magnolia Manor. A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM Friday August 7, 2015 in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, with Reverend Danny Courtney officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday 5:00-7:00 PM in the Linwwod Room of Striffler-Hamby.

Mrs. Love, daughter of the late Daniel Webster Cain and late Nellie Vivian Whetstone Cain, was born in Columbus, GA on March 27, 1945. She was a Supervisor at Fieldcrest Mills for 37 years. Mrs. Love was a member of Highland Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed playing a good game of cards.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Foy E. Love; sisters Jean Ervin, Edna Holman and Marlene McLaughlin; brothers Kenneth Cain, Walter Daniel Cain, Larry Cain and Wayne Cain. Survivors include her sons, Edward Earl Love of Columbus, GA and Danny Franklin Love of Columbus, GA and daughter Cherie Kellie Hodge (Jason) of Fortson, GA; grandchildren Eric Love, Caroline Hodge and Cierra Hodge; great grandson Carter Love; sisters Janice Smith and Kathy Hines; brother Mike Cain; many other relatives and friends.
