Judy Grant

Judy Grant, 69, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Columbus Hospice House. She was born at Fort Jackson Army Hospital to the late Andrew G. Frost and Elizabeth Maria Lenn Frost. Judy was married to the late Eddy Grant.

Judy worked for many years in the textile mills in Columbus after leaving the textile mills she worked several other jobs. One of the last jobs Judy held was as a crossing guard for Muscogee County and she loved her station that she held for many years and her students loved her. Judy also enjoyed the Columbus Riverwalk and gardening. Her furbaby Milo was her constant companion. Judy’s loving memory will be forever in the hearts of all who knew and especially loved her.

Judy leaves her loving memory to be cherished by her daughters: Kathy Howze (Ricky) and Shannon Johnson; her very adored grandchildren: Brooke Lett, Zack Howze, Briana Johnson, and Gaven Johnson; her very much adored great-grandchildren: Kennedy Lett, Alanah Johnson, Robert “Robbie” Henderson, Genesis “Gengen” Johnson and Kylen Henderson; her siblings: Monica Batton (Elbert), George Frost, and Cindy Morrison; and several nieces, nephews and other family members.
