Lillian Larraine Davis

Lillian Larraine Bowens Davis was born on September 22, 1931 in Girard, Alabama to the late Mary L. Hall Bowens and Jimmy T. Bowens. She worked in the Textile Mills until her retirement from Swift Mills. Mrs. Davis enjoyed puzzle books and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Davis, sons: Richard Nelson, Chuck Nelson, and Gary Nelson; brothers, Lamar Bowens, Rufus Bowens, and Jimmy L. Bowens. Lillian L. Davis will be laid to rest in Parkhill Cemetery on Thursday, January 29, 2015.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Trickey and Diane Burgess; her son, Marty Nelson; grandchildren: Joey Trickey, C.W. (Stacy) Trickey, Kathleen (Jeff) Brown, Gary W. (Heather) Burgess, Demarco Nelson, Dunavan Nelson, Lamar Nelson, Patrick (Sybil) Nelson, Josh Nelson, Renee Nelson, Angela Hall, and Michael Jones, Darrell Nelson, Kailey Nelson, Savannah Nelson; great-grandchildren, Seth Burgess, Sydney N. Burgess, Noah Nelson and Titus Nelson; sisters, Sue Ray of Columbus, GA, Marie (David) Flemming of Waverly Hall, GA, and Becky Watson of Dahlonega, GA; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
