It is with deep sadness that we mourn the passing of our dear sister, Lisa Davenport, who passed away on March 8th, 2023, at the age of 52 in Columbus, GA. Lisa was a beloved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
Lisa was born on Feb 8th, 1971, in Columbus Ga, to her loving parents Glenda & Bob Comer. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on March 23rd 1985 and dedicated her life to serving Jehovah.
Throughout her life, Lisa was known as kind, compassionate, loyal and a diehard Auburn football fan. She had a deep love for her family and friends. She always made time to listen to and encourage those around her. Her faith was unshakeable, and she remained steadfast in her faith despite the challenges the world presented to her.
Lisa will be deeply missed by all who knew her and the surviving members of her family. We take comfort in the promise found at Revelation 21:4 which reads, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
We know that Lisa's next thoughts are of her waking up in God’s new kingdom, it is we that remain, who must endure the pain of loss, and continue to remain faithful. May Jehovah's loving arms comfort and strengthen all of us who must continue to endure.
We ask that you please keep Lisa's family and friends in your prayers during this difficult time.
A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 2:00PM. William Harrell will be officiating.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.shcolumbus.com for the Davenport family.
